About the Workshop:

Learn the ins-and-outs of incorporating mushrooms into a homestead landscape. Practical advice for growing outdoors in multiple environments using widely available methods, materials, and species. We will cover the basics of fungal biology and how it pertains to cultivation, the three most common outdoor growing practices, how to keep your mushrooms going from year-to-year, how to get the mushrooms to fruit, and how to harvest. We will end the day on a discussion of what to do with mushrooms you harvest, whether edible or not. Tickets are $80.00 each, though scholarships are available for those needing financial assistance. Please contact us if you are in need of financial support to attend the event.
