Allegheny Farm

The cultivated farm hosts a one-acre vegetable garden, and a small orchard, with a rotating cast of animals, from small herds of cattle, broilers, laying chickens, ducks, beehives.  The whole-system farm is a living classroom for restorative and sustainable growing methods, wild foraging, agro-forestry, small and large animal husbandry, rotational grazing, food preservation, and whole foods cooking. The Allegheny Farm is Certified Naturally Grown and utilizes a variety of sustainable and regenerative growing practices.

Vegetables are sold at the Monterey Farmers Market, local Highland Roots Market, and donated to emergency food initiatives in Highland County.
