Food, Community, Ecology
A farm, retreat, and education center in The Allegheny Mountains
From the VILLAGE level outward, we can reweave ecological and social relationships.
How can we work locally to support our neighbors, grow food, nurture human and ecological health, and build a flourishing future? At the Village, we are exploring these questions in order to create pathways of health and connection. Ecologically aligned foodways are the pillar of this work, supporting strong, local, regenerative food systems.

The Village
Our classes, workshops, and retreats focus on creative solutions to intersecting ecological, cultural, and social problems, focusing on local living, shifting cultural paradigms, and systems change. Wildcrafting, nature connection, Appalachian culture, regenerative agriculture, and agro-ecology are some of the many pathways.
We have very few answers to the many challenges of crafting a regenerative, equitable, and sustainable future, but with the efforts of a whole Village, these large challenges become manageable, while beautiful, new futures emerge.

Allegheny Farm
Ecologically aligned foodways are the pillar of our work and our small mountain farm has been cultivating nutrient-dense food for decades. The Allegheny Farm works to support strong, local, regenerative food systems in Highland County, Virginia. The Farm is woven into our education programs, provides food to local markets, and serves local residents in need.
